Durch die TiAlN-Verschleißschutzbeschichtung erhöht sich die Oberflächenhärte des Werkzeuges auf ca. 3.000 HV / Mikrohärte und die Warmhärtebeständigkeit auf bis 900°C. Sie zeichnet sich durch hohe Zähigkeit sowie hohe thermische und chemische Stabilität aus und dient der Erzielung höherer Standzeiten und Schnittwerte. Durch die TiAlN-Beschichtung zur Trockenbearbeitung geeignet. Insbesondere geeignet für die Bearbeitung von unlegierten und legierten Stählen (bis 1200 N/mm²), hochchromlegierten Stählen wie z.B.
