Die Firma Metabo bietet mit dem KH 18 LTX BL 24 einen sehr leichten und kompakten Akku Bohrhammer. Durch sein geringes Gewicht ermöglicht er ein ermüdungsärmeres Arbeiten. Der bürstenlose Motor unterstützt die Leichtbauweise der Maschine weiter und sorgt für eine erhöhte Lebensdauer der Maschine durch niedrigeren Verschleiß. Durch die Metabo Vibra Tech ( MTV ) wird die Vibration der Maschine gedämpft, was ebenfalls das Arbeiten ermüdungsärmer gestaltet. Das Gerät verfügt über 3 unterschiedliche Modi zum Bohren, Meißeln und Hammerbohren. Mithilfe der Vario-Tech-Constamatic ( VTC )-Vollwellenelektronik bleibt die Drehzahl auch unter Last konstant. Die Maschine verfügt über einen Sanftanlauf, eine LED Lampe und eine Sicherheitsrastenkupplung, zum mechinisierten Entkopeln des Antriebs beim Blockieren des Bohrers. Metabo verbindet eine lange Tradition zu Werkzeugen aller Art, darüber hinaus ist Metabo Mitglied im CAS Konzern und besitzt somit eine breite Pallette an kompatiblen Geräten und Akkus anderer Hersteller.
