Die integrierte Getriebearretierung sowie das flache Motorgehäuse als Auflagefläche ermöglichen einen schnellen und bequemen Sägeblattwechsel. Mit Hilfe des Absaugstutzens kann zudem eine Fremdabsaugung angeschlossen werden. Die Schnitttiefenverstellung erfolgt nach dem Scherenprinzip.
