Durch das geringe Gewicht ist die Arbeit mit der DUH 502 kraftschonend. Mit regelbarer elektronischer Hubzahl arbeitet Sie in 3 Stufen. Ebenso enthält die Heckenschere ein Bürstenlosen Motor für mehr Ausdauer, längere Lebensdauer und kompaktere Bauweise.
Für ein schnelleren Start, wird die DUH 502 mit Akkus betrieben. Inklusive zu der DUH 502 gibt es 1x das Makita BL 1830 B 18V - 3 Ah / 3000 mAh Li-Ion Akku mit LED Anzeige. Der Makita BL 1830 B Akku mit 3 Ah überzeugt mit maximierter Ausdauer bei sehr geringem Gewicht. Dazu verfügt der Akku, dank geringer Selbstentladung, Kurzschluß-, Überspannungs- und Überhitzungsschutz, über maximale Lebensdauer. Zudem besitzt der BL 1830 B noch eine LED - Ladestandanzeige zum Überprüfen der Restenergie im Akku.
