Der Sensenaufsatz für den Motor lässt sich dank Schnellverschluss extrem leicht austauschen, passend dazu bietet Makita Rasentrimmer-, Kultivator-, Heckenscheren- und Kettensägenaufsätze. Der Motor überzeugt mit hoher Leistung und mehr Ausdauer dank bürstenlosem Motor. Die Maschine ist mit Sanftanlauf und Anzeigen für Akku-Restpakazität und Überhitzung des Motors ausgestattet. Der Kombimotor ist mit zwei Geschwindigkeitsstufen und Rückwärtslauf ausgerüstet, dieser kann bei verstopftem Schneidbereich verwendet werden.
