Der Makita BO002CG ist ein äußerst handlicher und leichter Exzenterschleifer, der sowohl mit einem 40V max. Akku als auch über einen PDC-Connector-Akku betrieben werden kann. Durch den separat über ein Adapterkabel angeschlossenen Akku, der beispielsweise am Gürtel getragen werden kann, bleibt das Gerät besonders leicht und handlich. Dies erleichtert die Handhabung erheblich. Eine hervorragende Staubabsaugung wird durch die Grundplatte ermöglicht, die den Staub direkt in die integrierte Staubbox oder über eine externe Absaugung befördert, wobei letztere über das Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) mit Bluetooth mit einem Staubsauger verbunden werden kann. Der bürstenlose Motor des Schleifers ist wartungsfrei und zeichnet sich durch seine Langlebigkeit aus. Zudem sorgt die Konstantelektronik für eine gleichbleibende Drehzahl, die ein gleichmäßiges Schleifergebnis über verschiedene Materialien hinweg gewährleistet. Die regelbare Dreh- und Exzenterbewegung trägt zusätzlich dazu bei, perfekte Ergebnisse zu erzielen.
