Er verfügt über einen elektronischen Sanftanlauf und verhindert somit ein ruckartiges Anlaufen der Maschine. Der Überlastschutz verhindert ein Durchbrennen des Motors durch Abschalten bei Überlastbetrieb. Der DeWalt DWE 4257 KT Betonschleifer / Winkelschleifer besitzt einen vibrationsdämpfenden Zusatzhandgriff für ein sicheres und ermüdungsarmes Arbeiten. Für einen einfachen und sicheren Scheibenwechsel sorgt die spezielle Flanschmutter.
