Die RAPIDSTOP™-Bremse bietet erhöhten Anwenderschutz, indem sie die Scheibe in unter 2,5 Sekunden stoppt. Der Winkelschleifer verfügt über einen Totmannschalter, Wiederanlaufschutz und einen Anti-Vibrations-Seitenhandgriff. Ein werkzeugloses FIXTEC™-Schnellwechselsystem, austauschbare Staubschutzgitter und eine verstellbare Schutzhaube erhöhen die Benutzerfreundlichkeit.
