With an IP65 housing protection classification, this radio offers excellent protection against dust and water, so that it works perfectly even in harsh conditions. It can be operated flexibly using all Makita CXT 12V max., LXT 18V max. and XGT 40V max. rechargeable battery systems (the latter up to a maximum of 4.0 Ah) or alternatively using the mains adapter supplied. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, you can conveniently stream your music from a smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices. In addition, DAB+ reception enables crystal-clear digital radio reception, while the AUX connection allows you to connect to other audio sources. An additional USB port enables practical charging of smartphones and other devices during the working day. For powerful sound, the radio is equipped with a subwoofer on the underside of the housing as well as mid-range and tweeters on the sides, which ensure rich and clear sound that comes into its own even in noisy working environments.
