Product Description:

The robust Makita DHS 900 cordless circular saw has enough power for demanding applications thanks to its 36-volt (2x 18-volt) system. A cutting depth of up to 85 mm with a 235 mm saw blade is no problem for the DHS 900. The brushless motor, in combination with the two batteries connected in series, ensures excellent performance. Furthermore, the brushless motor enables a longer service life and a more compact design. Thanks to 4,500 revolutions per minute, fast and clean cutting is possible. Thanks to its design, no adaptation to a guide rail is necessary; the circular saw is compatible with Makita guide rails without the need for additional accessories. The saw table is made of high-quality aluminium. The circular saw bears the XPT designation, which means that enhanced protection is built into the tool. This ensures that the most important components are well protected against dust, dirt and splashes. The low-battery protection automatically switches the tool off when the batteries are nearly empty. The AWS function (Auto-start Wireless System) enables communication between the machine and the vacuum cleaner, allowing for dust-free working. Furthermore, the cordless circular saw features a motor brake that brings the brushless motor to an immediate standstill when required. The machine’s soft start ensures a smooth start-up. The bright LED provides an unobstructed view of the workpiece. Furthermore, the saw features automatic speed control, provided by the ADT technology (Automatic Torque Drive) at the heart of the circular saw.
