The Makita DHP 490 cordless impact drill is a powerful and versatile machine that is suitable for both screwdriving and drilling work with and without impact function. With a maximum torque of 50 Nm (hard) and 27 Nm (soft), the tool offers enough power for a wide range of applications. Equipped with a mechanical 2-speed gearbox, the DHP 490 enables fast drilling in light materials in high-speed mode as well as precise work requiring high torque in low-speed mode. The torque can be finely adjusted in 20 steps between approximately 1 and 5 Nm, allowing the user to tailor the power precisely to their needs. The impact drill is equipped with dual LED lighting that illuminates the work area well, even in dark or poorly lit environments, to ensure high precision in all tasks. Another highlight is the Makita XPT system, which effectively protects the machine from water and dust, ensuring reliable operation even under difficult conditions. The ergonomically designed handle ensures maximum comfort, even during prolonged use, and the conveniently located reverse switch makes operation easier by allowing quick switching between forward and reverse rotation. The built-in battery protection circuit protects the device from overload, overheating and over-discharge, thus contributing to the machine's longevity. A quick-release drill chuck allows for easy accessory changes and ensures that the drill/driver is ready for use in no time.
