Product Description:
The Makita DCW180 is a portable battery-powered compressor cool and heat box with an operating time of up to 17 hours. It can be used to cool to -18; -10; 0; 5 and 10° C and heat to 55 or 60° C. It has a capacity of 20 litres. This can be used, for example, to store twenty 500 ml PET bottles. To open bottles with crown caps, a bottle opener has been integrated into the side of the appliance. A major advantage of this cool box is that it can be operated independently of the mains. It can be operated with two 18 V Makita rechargeable batteries via a 12 V or 24 V vehicle socket or optionally via a 230 V socket for continuous operation. A USB port located next to the battery slot can be used to charge smartphones. Important: The DCW180 does not have a battery charging function! Another advantage of battery operation is the protection against splashing water on all sides, which makes it weatherproof. A cover over the battery compartment protects against the ingress of dirt and water (protection class IPX4, only when closed!). A clear LED display showing the current interior temperature and battery charge level provides a good overview of the status of the cool box. The fold-out handle is particularly convenient, allowing the DCW 180 to be pulled effortlessly over two castors.
