Product Description:

The SSU 200 EB-Plus FS UNIVERS sword saw is the innovative all-rounder from Festool. Whether wood or insulation materials, the UNIVERS SSU 200 blade saw cuts all common materials in timber construction up to 200 mm thick. Thanks to the guide rail, straight cuts, tear-free cross-cuts, rip cuts, mitre cuts and bevel cuts can be made with ease. The centreboard saw weighs just 6.5 kg and is completely stowed away in the SYSTAINER SYS 5 T - LOC, making it easy to use on construction sites or for assembly work. Thanks to the swivelling range of 60°, the SSU 200 is even suitable for extreme mitre cuts. The integrated guide groove in the die-cast aluminium table in conjunction with the guide rail enables precise cuts to be made, which is exactly what is needed in timber construction. The viewing window in the protective cover allows you to keep an eye on the mark and cut at all times, giving you the best possible control. The cutting depth at 45° is 140 mm, at 60° it is 100 mm. The FastFix function enables a tool-free chain change in just a few simple steps, and the chain can even be tensioned on the device without tools by turning the tensioning wheel. The MMC electronic system, which adjusts the speed control to the material, ensures that you can work with the right material. The overload protection and safety brake protect the machine and offer a high level of safety. Thanks to the oil level control, you always know when to top up the chain lubricant. There is a rotary knob on the handle that can be used to set the optimum chain lubrication and also switch it off for breaks. The guide jaws can be mounted without tools, so there is no play when guiding the saw, resulting in precise cuts of the highest quality. The FS - Rapid clamping system keeps the guide rail where it belongs - at the rip. The starting current limiter enables the machine to be started without any problems in the event of household fuses. A healthy working environment is ensured by the connection of mobile extractors. The extraction nozzle can be rotated through 360° and therefore does not hinder work.
