Product Description:

The Festool OFK 500 Q-Plus R3 edge router is the ideal tool for various routing jobs such as bevelling, rounding, profiling and grooving. The machine weighs only 1.4 kg and is therefore particularly handy and easy to use for both vertical and horizontal applications. The cutter system of the OFK 500 is particularly practical: All tools have the same outer diameter, which minimises the table opening of the router. This prevents tilting when milling in problematic corner areas. The routing depth can be set easily and precisely in 1/10 mm increments, enabling perfect adaptation to the workpiece. The router bits are optimally matched to the table bore to prevent incorrect routing. The stable connection between the milling cutter and drive ensures high concentricity. Changing the router bit is quick and easy thanks to the spindle stop. The edge router is also characterised by its easy handling and low weight. This enables fast rounding and bevelling of squared timber, block frames and panels. The OFK 500 also makes flush routing of edge banding and mouldings effortless.
