Die Ersatzscheibe DIA THERMO mit einem Durchmesser von 150 mm eignet sich besonders gut bei schwer abzuschleifenden Materialien, die durch Hitze verschmieren. Durch die Anordnung der Diamanten wird das Material eher geschabt als geschliffen und somit kann sich die Scheibe nicht zusetzen - ein sehr schneller Abtrag kann erzielt werden.
