The DCH 253 is an 18 volt cordless rotary hammer drill from DeWalt with a new, high-performance motor that delivers a significant number of drill holes per battery charge. Very high drilling progress is achieved by the optimally adjusted electro-pneumatic hammer mechanism, as well as the electronic rotation stop for light chiselling work and the impact stop for drilling in wood, metal and ceramics. The high-performance motor, the gearbox and the percussion mechanism are also protected by a special damping mechanism and contribute efficiently to vibration reduction. The built-in LED illuminates the workstation and the modular machine design eases service work on the drill itself. The supplied rubberized extra handle and the very low weight and balanced design ensure low-fatigue work even during extended use.
