The long-lasting 18 V batteries with 5.0 Ah and COOLPACK technology have a 25% longer service life compared to 4.0 Ah batteries. Thanks to its modern design, the Bosch GAL 18V-40 charger is very compact and compatible with all Bosch Professional 18V batteries. The charging speed has been optimised for the compact 18V batteries. The intelligent charging process automatically recognises the charge status of the battery and charges it at the optimum charging current depending on the battery temperature and voltage. This protects the battery and ensures that it always remains fully charged when stored in the charger. The charger can be operated either upright or hanging on the wall.
