Thanks to its modern design, the Bosch GAL 18V-40 charger is very compact and compatible with all Bosch Professional 18V batteries. The charging speed has been optimised for the compact 18V batteries. The intelligent charging process automatically recognises the charge status of the battery and charges it at the optimum charging current depending on the battery temperature and voltage. This protects the battery and ensures that it always remains fully charged when stored in the charger. The charger can be operated either upright or hanging on the wall.

      This charger is top-notch, feeling robust and long-lasting, giving me confidence it'll stick with me for a while. It's compatible with 14.4-18V batteries and delivers 4A of power. Charging times are reasonable and the speed is impressive, quickly and reliably filling up my batteries. While it's not perfect, with some room for improvement in the fan noise, it gets the job done.
